Another fashion related post today. I think leather / faux leather jackets are such a great fashion item and I feel it has to have a little space on my blog. Especially now that autumn is here and we are looking for a perfect jacket to tick the boxes for the season.

I was searching for a nice leather / faux leather  jacket for ages especially because previously I found some that look too bulky for my petite size and too rocky which I wasn’t a fan of. I wanted something classy, comfy and good quality.

Faux Leather / leather jackets are always going to be a staple in any wardrobe. I feel that you can pull a lovely casual or dressed up look with a nice jacket.

There are no limits in fashion and this is true especially when it comes to leather jackets. Day dress, biker boots and leather jacket, what a great outfit to pull out when going out for coffee ( or currently just to the shops) to feel more polished.

Skinny jeans, white top and leather jacket and you got a great casual look for almost any occasion.

I have found my jacket in M&S however I have found some lovely ones online which I am going to share with you here.. Those are mixture of faux leather or leather to which ever you prefer.

I have gone for a black classic style as I feel it goes with most of the outfits but I have to say I love the look of tan colour one too.
There is no way you can spoil any look with adding leather jacket.

As another lockdown approaches slowly we are limited yet again to go out, meet friends or visit places, I do like to dress up sometimes even just going to the shop as I have nowhere else to dress up to at the moment.
Dressing up, doing my make-up makes me feel good and happy which helps my mental health and wellbeing. This is all a self care, looking after ourselves is especially important this year.

Hope you are all keeping well and healthy. Stay tuned for the next post!

We are fully submerged in the autumn season and in its cold wintery rainy days. I have to say it was hard to say goodbye to my summer wardrobe and get the warm jumpers out however I do admit I love knitted sweater weather too.

This season I am loving biker boots which are so easily styled with practically anything you like, from jeans or leggings to dresses and skirts.

Its amazing how versatile those little beauties can be.

Watching the online market, I can say, the best ones are selling quick which shows how popular the style is right now and you don’t have to break a bank to get a good quality pair of biker boots.

Biker boots are great for any occasion, from the school runs to look cool and stylish even though you didn’t make any effort at all, to going out shopping or coffee with girlfriends. You will spoil nothing by wearing dress with boots but the opposite and this is definitely a winner style in my eyes.

Biker boots have been a classic in women’s wardrobe for many years now however this little fashion piece is returning back with many new details.

Here are some biker boots I love. The choice is yours if you prefer platform boots, chunky heel or flatter style. I found some for reasonable prices from leather to faux leather. *affiliate links

I love autumn season and this year especially as I need something special to look forward to, something that we can all celebrate regardless of the current pandemic situation.

It will be different halloween that we know but it is important to make it special not only for our sake but for the sake of our little munchkins.

I have decided that this year more then any other year I make effort to decorate more for the season and create a spooky halloween atmosphere.

Why not? We have been feeling down and anxious for long enough this year, why not forget about the current situation and make most of the little things.

Spooky Decor

Who doesn’t like a spooky, scary halloween decor to create the atmosphere? This might depends on the age of your child as you don’t want to scare the little ones off, but you can go mad with the pumpkin decor, there is never enough pumpkins around the house.

Get your kids to cut or help you cut out the pumpkins for the tea light.

There is so much choice in the shops for the season but you don’t have to go and spend lots of money on decor. There is nothing nicer for the kids then making a halloween decor at home. Get them to cut out spiders, to stick into the window or create a spider garland.

You can find a lot of ideas on Pinterest from spooky face masks, paper bat garland, paper plate spider, spooky slime, halloween painted rocks...

I can’t wait to start creating crafts with my daughter.

As there isn’t going to be trick-or-treat this year, I decided to create some fancy halloween snack food for the family to put on the table. Kids love finger food and even more if it looks spooky and creative.

As I was researching the ideas for the finger food I found my favourite camembert cheese with stripes of pastry around to create mummie head and eyes made with olives, OMG that looks amazing i need to try it myself.

Another great one is to melt white chocolate or in our case caramac and dip a biscuit in leaving the tip only, once dry with choc sauce make eyes and mouth to create boo-scotti. yum

Creating the party atmosphere the kids will soon forget about trick-or-treating.

Make a plan ahead with your kids to make sure they get involved.

You can do movie night, little spooky Adams Family movie to watch or Hotel Pensilvania will do the job, depending on your kids age.

Food on the table, exiting time.

Family games, you can create a good family night in with a game for everyone to enjoy.

Music time, maybe bit of dancing. You can try some scary moves too, have fun thats all you need to do.

Depending on the weather where you are, why not create a cinema party in your garden. This is very popular for some and I like the idea too however weather here isn’t so exiting in October.

Have a Spooky Evening Walk

I love to have a walk in the evening.

You can get the kids to see if others have a nice halloween decor out. You can have a walk and each time they find a house with halloween decor, you can add into their bag a little treat.

They can still dress up into their spooky costumes.

I am looking forward to this time of the year, it is important that we focus on things that we can influence and have power to change rather then being overwhelmed with a situation that is out of our hand.

Focus on creating your home environment the most cosiest as it is where you spend most of your time right now and halloween is a great way of setting us off.

Lets not feel down that if we can’t trick-or-treat this year halloween isn’t the same. It can be better if we try a little harder this time. Kids will love that you are involved as a family.
